Train is climbing grade leading to Horseshoe Curve, and pulled by an M1 class engine No. 6884...." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6884, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1926 and retired in October of 1949 after 23 years of faithful service. |
