Title:
PRR 4333, I-1SA, 1955
Description:
Dziobko. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken at Grogan Yard in Columbus, Ohio, on 12 September 1955. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4333, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during December of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1944, and retired in October of 1950 after 28 years of faithful service. Note the Train Phone apparatus mounted between the bell and the sand dome.
