| What a surprise when we found the Jasper Indiana depot. It looked like it was brand new - and then we found out it actually was. The depot was built in 2005 by the City of Jasper using the original Southern Rwy blueprints for the original 1906 Jasper depot. The original depot was torn down in 1970 but the City of Jasper resurrected the building to host public and private events. One of those being the "City of Jasper" train excursions. |
