It was published originally in the August 1973 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 37. Top Photo Caption: "Pennsy Train Master 8703 descends the East Slope grade west of Altoona with a coal train from Cresson on October 12, 1957." PRR engine #8703 is an FS-24M built by Fairbanks-Morse in September of 1956 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. Photo by Ken Douglas.
