PRR 6599, C-1, 1940         
Here is an image of a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6599, a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in Juniata during October of 1925 and retired in February of 1952 after 27 years of faithful service. Note the Hostler on the tender's deck, replenishing the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Edward Kaspriske Collection.
