| This heavily damaged but original photo shows a proud crew and possibly yard members posing in front of the 1912 Alco-Brooks built 2-8-2 Mikado (serial #51673). No date, location or photographer was listed for this rare photo printed on heavy postcard stock. An approximate date and location was used. Eric Reinert (see comment below) noticed several characteristics that push the date back to pre-WWr I and it seems correct. Thanks, Eric, for you help! |
