| The DM&E was a spinoff from the Chicago & Northwestern, and later added some Milwaukee Road lines to fill out its route map. Several years ago, it was acquired by CP, bringing the ex MILW lines back into the CP sphere after 25 years and some corporate changes on the MILW side over the years. You wouldnt know it to look at this hopper on the northbound Q train, which looks for all the world like DME is still a going concern |
