Here is the third of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by John Dziobko, Jr., that were taken in Burlington, New Jersey, on 27 February 1954. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #518, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in December of 1955 after 37 years of faithful service. The slide mount is annotated "The Nellie Bly." ("Stoneborobranch"; #18 of 28) |
