| A CN local parallels McDonald Rd. and approaches Hwy. T as it heads north with 2 boxcars via former SOO rails at Lunds, WI, on 19 Sep. '20. The grade crossing had signals until at least Sep. '15, they were replaced by these crossbucks and stop signs sometime between then and Dec. '17. The foundation of the former depot rests in the clump of trees to the left. Of course the next photograph I captured, the one I really liked, with the locomotive crossing the road with a friendly wave from the engineer, did not turn out because the autofocus feature of my camera failed to perform its assigned task. |
