CCC. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide that was taken at the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad N-5 cabin car #477577, built on these very grounds in June of 1929 ~ some 65 years before! Partially visible in the background is PRR engine #4913, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built in Juniata during January of 1942 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. |
