PRR 1737 into 3750, K-4S, 1972
Here is an original 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on 26 May 1972. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive numbered "1737." However, its original number is "3750," as indicated on the keystone number plate on the smokebox. It is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920. Partially visible on the right is PRR engine #460, an E-6S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata during August of 1914; it's the "Lindbergh Locomotive."
