Here is page four of a ten-page cover article by David P. Morgan entitled "Duplex-Drives." It was published originally in the November 1959 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 19. "'The Big Engine' ~ Pennsylvania S-1 6-4-4-6 No. 6100 ~ roars underneath a South Shore overpass near Gary, Ind., with a seemingly endless stream of Tuscan red standard and lightweight passenger equipment behind her 26-1/2-ton, 2430-gallon tender."
