Malinowski. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Robert R. Malinoski that was taken near Newport, Pennsylvania, on 11 October 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6783, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works as an M-1A during March of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in January of 1947, and retired in August of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. |
