Photo Caption: "Mountain type No. 6739 westbound at Duncannon, Pa., October 20, 1956, during the last spurt of steam on the PRR." Photo by Kenneth Schumacher. Shown here is PRR engine #6739, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B during May of 1951, and retired in April of 1958 after 28 years of faithful service.
