| A trio of Indiana Southern SD40-2s (ISRR 3383, 3386 and 3382) were found in Edwardsport, Indiana, on September 29, 2017. The engine on the south end, ISRR 3383, was built in February 1980 as Burlington Northern 7259. With the merger of BN and Santa Fe, the engine became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 7259, and BNSF later sold it to First Union Rail (as FURX 7259). From FURX it ended up on the ISRR. |
