| Bringing up the rear of Viscose Company 0-4-0 switcher No. 6s train, just north of the C9 Bridge, is Catskill Mountain Railroad Caboose #675 and GE 45 Ton switcher #42. The purpose of the 45 Ton switcher is to provide power for the train if the steam locomotive breaks down or runs out of steam, which it did shortly after this photo was taken. |
