| Built by EMD in January of 1950 (same as my birthdate), this F7A unit was originally numbered just #917. It served until being donated in June of 1981 to the Bay Area Electri RR Association. After a trade between the Bay Area Electric RR Association and the new Portola RR Museum (now Western Pacific RR Museum) in 2005. and new paint in the oranga and silver scheme, she now resides at the museum in Portola, California where she lives out her much deserved retirement.
