| One of UP-2s units failed at Council Hill and the train stalled. CC-1 was in the siding at Scales Mound and tied their train down and ran light engines to Council Hill to help UP-2 up the hill. UP-2 went to Apple River and CC-1s units cut off, returned to Scales Mound, got their train and continued their westward trip. |
