Taken July of 1899. Apparently 105, being a switcher working in the Portland yard was frequently photographed. This 0-4-4T Rhode Island locomotive (Builders#2807) was put in service on the Sebasticook & Moosehead Lake RR in 1892 as #2. It operated as #105 on the MEC from 1896 to 1900 when MEC renumbered it to MEC#3. Cyl15x20, 50 inch drivers. It was scrapped in January of 1920. This comes from the Harold Vollrath collection.
