| This is what remains of the C&NW roundhouse at the CN yard at North Green Bay, WI, as seen on 29 Sep. '15. C&NW built a new 40-stall roundhouse in 1913-14, along with a power house, store house, oil house, mechanical coal chute, water tank, ice house, and other improvements for $350,000. The roundhouse was reduced to 18 stalls in the late 1950s. The Fox Valley & Western reduced it to 5 stalls in 1998-99. I do not know when the turntable was removed, photographs on this website depict it at least to 2003. |
