C&O 3023
A C&O eastbound freight pulls past State Line Tower. GP30s were C&O's first second generation diesels. All were delivered with yellow noses and the roadname spelled out in Futura lettering. Only three received this later simplified "merger" paint scheme. The 3023 would go on to become CSXT 4217, OHCR 4217, and ARZC 3002. Date of photo approximate.
