An eastbound Oyster Bay train arrives at the elegant station at Locust Valley, one of the higher end North Shore communities on the branch. The station has a variation on the usual gambrel roof style, with Spanish tile instead of shingles. Also, it has Roman style columns, versus the more typical brick pillars. |
