Abandoned MKC Engine House
Built in 1906. One of the few remnants of the McKeesport Connecting Railroad, which existed soley to service the USS National Works in McKeesport. The MKC still existed, at least on paper and some rolling stock, until January 2013 when it was officially combined with the Union Railroad. But this facility has been abandoned for a long time. Here is a link to a site where you can see how the interior used to look: http://www.tubecityonline.com/almanac/entry_2199.php
