It would be hard to imagine with today's BNSF Mainline Trains What,With today's big high tech GEVOS and others that there was a time when back in the early years of BNSF that trains were powered by older SD40-2's from both BN and Santa Fe. As was the case here at Provo's 820 North Grade Crossing with former Santa Fe SD45-2 built in 1972 in the 5600-5800 number series leading the Denver-Stockton Manifest across the former Rio Grande Mainline in the early spring of 1999. |
