GSMR 1755         
Great Smoky Mountains Railroad GP9's 1755 and 777 about to depart from the former Southern Railway station in Bryson City, NC. The GSMR operates excursion trains on the former Southern Railway Murphy Branch from Sylva to Andrews, NC. This is one of two daily excursion trains which the GSMR runs. This one departs Bryson City, NC at 10:30am and heads West to Hewitt, NC where the train pulls into a siding, the locomotives run around the train and the train heads back to Bryson City. The other one leaves Bryson City at 1pm and heads East to Dillsboro, NC, where the locomotive runs around the train and heads back to Bryson City.
