| A northbound passes the old piggyback area at Dothan as they make their way to the yard. The old ACL passenger station is directly behind me. SCL exited the piggyback business in Dothan in the mid 1980's and for a while the H&S railroad operated a ramp on the west side of Dothan. This lasted about a year and when it closed brought about an end to intermodal activity in Dothan except for something passing through. |
