| Bow Washington is where the BN's former GN main to Vancouver comes out of the Skagit Valley and starts to skirt Samish Bay for the run to Bellingham. It's a pretty location, surrounded by farmland and, at night, the airhorns echo hauntingly off the hills. This is BN train no.632, on its way north behind a pair of SD40-2s. |
