CF7 Passes The Last WigWag
Title:  CF7 Passes The Last WigWag
Description:  Santa Cruz Big Trees & Pacific 2600 rumbles across Lincoln Street, past one of the last operating wig-wag signals in California. Only three wigwag crossings are still installed in northern California, and Santa Cruz is home to all three. Of these three, only two are still active, with a third still in place but unused as of 2017. The in-service wigwags are located along Chestnut Street, where the Beach Train must run seven blocks down the middle of the street. The wigwags protect the Walnut-Chestnut and Lincoln-Chestnut intersections. Formerly, an additional two were located in Richmond and Ager respectively.
