Description:  NS Eastbound Intermodal Train 226 ( Memphis, Tn. to Atlanta, Ga. ) passing through 27th Street Interlocking in Birmingham, Al. coming off the NA District & onto the AGS South District, now 226 runs via KCS from Shreveport, La. to Meridian, Ms. where interchanged to NS there, back then the normal routing was from Memphis, Tn. to Sheffield, Al. then to Birmingham, Al. then to Atlanta, Ga. sometimes Sheffield, Al. to Chattanooga, Tn. & to Atlanta, Ga. but several years ago when the KCS Transcontinental Division from Meridian to Dallas got upgrades 226 was routed via the KCS Meridian Speedway
