Description:  Here is page seven of a 15-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "Modern Cars And Locomotives: 1926." Depicted here are PRR engines #952, #4530, and #4179. Engine #952 is an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during January of 1918 and retired in June of 1957. Engine #4530 is an I-1S (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S in August of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1942, and retired in September of 1953. And engine #4179 is a B-6SB built in Juniata in March of 1924 and retired in 1955.

Both were built in Juniata. Engine #4179 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built during March of 1924 and retiree in 1955. Engine #6556 is a C-1 (0-8-0) switcher built in May of 1925 and retired in January of 1949.

Description:  Here is page seven of a 29-page article by Eric Hirsimaki entitled "Interview With Clair I. Clugh: Manager, Altoona Works (Retired)." It was published originally in the Summer 1996 issue of "The Keystone" magazine, page 20. Top Photo Caption: "Interior of the Erecting and Machine Shop, circa 1948. In the foreground is B6SB #4179; to the rear is T1 #5531, a Baldwin product. PRR engine #4179 is a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during March of 1924 and retired in 1955. The name of the Shopman atop the boiler is not recorded. PRR engine #5531 is a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in April of 1946 and retired in December of 1953. Bottom Photo Caption: "E6S #1309 in Sunbury, Pa., July 29, 1950." PRR engine #1309 is an E-6S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata in June of 1914 and retired in November of 1952.
