The proud profile of this EMD built F3A unit is captured in this photo by F. R. Kern while stopped at Scranton, PA. Originally delivered to Delaware, Lackawanna & Western as #662A in March of 1948 (builder #4978), this photo must have been taken shortly after the EL merger. Unusually sharp looking diesel on this January day!
