West 1 |
Description: |
"Extra RI 44 West" enters the joint Milwaukee/ Burlington double track which was left hand running, back in train order days before the computerized ctc that it now is! How do I know, you ask?! Because I used to dispatch at Newport catching summer vacations on the BN dispatchers extra board at Northtown and also because I worked in three of the five interlocking towers that were on the line between St Paul and Hastings/ Prescott! Back in "train order days" it was fun to work there! |
