Album Info:The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District, better known as the South Shore Line, is one if not the last electric interurban line still running and has in some form since its 1908 beginnings. It's daily schedule runs commuter service from Chicago, IL, to South Bend, IN. With the catenary wire replacement in 2010-11, the trains now zip along at much faster speeds. Best time to catch one is as it leaves a station like this set leaving the downtown Hammond, IN station.
