Album Info:Norfolk Southern/North Shore shots including an early run by NSHR on the former NS Selinsgrove Industrial Track. The routes involved are 7.7 miles from Selinsgrove Junction to Kreamer on Norfolk Southern’s Buffalo line, plus 1.3 miles to the former Sunbury Generation Station power plant. The price of $371,200 includes rail assets and a freight service easement agreement from NS. The easement is necessary because Norfolk Southern is retaining the land underlying the right-of-way. The Authority agreed to buy the lines in December 2021 and North Shore operated their first train on May 4th. Kreamer Feed Mill at the end of track is the only current regular customer.
